Robert’s Grove is a Hacienda-style Belize beach resort in Placencia, nestled in 22 acres of pristine white sands. Placencia, primarily a fishing village, is situated at the end of a 16 mile peninsula separating a lagoon from the Caribbean Sea.
Placencia has become world renowned for its off-shore fishing and the diving and snorkeling on Belize’s reef, the second largest in the world and the largest in the western hemisphere. The resort gives you the opportunity to experience all of these and also sample some of the many adventures available on the mainland, whilst returning to a haven of luxury in the evenings.
Robert’s Grove has 4 types of accommodations to offer and all are luxurious, beautifully furnished, air conditioned and just steps away from the beach. You can choose from a one bedroom Classic Vista Room which can sleep 1-3 people, a two bedroom Family Classic Vista which sleeps between 2-5 people, 1, 2 or 3 bedroom Villas that sleep 2-3, 4-5 or 6-8 people.
There are also 2-4 bedroom Marina Residences which have some fantastic views of the Placencia Lagoon and the Mayan Mountains and have all the amenities you would expect in a luxury home.
Food & Dining
The resort boasts a variety of places to eat, the main one being the Seaside Restaurant that not only serves a delicious assortment of International cuisine for 3 meals a day but is also renowned for its delectable picnic lunches to carry on day trips and its extensive wine list.
The Habanero Mexican Cafe & Bar is also available for breakfast, lunch and dinner and overlooks the lagoon and provides a casual atmosphere in which to enjoy a cocktail. Also providing a casual atmosphere for a cold beer is the Sweet Mama’s Belizean Style Restaurant. The Habanero Bakery & Deli is also located on the resort and provides sandwiches, croissants and fresh pastries.
The amenities at Robert’s Grove include three fresh water pools, a spa, a fitness room, the “Coconut Treasure” gift shop and dive centre. There is also a gazebo on the end of the 200 foot pier and an assortment of gear for water activities, like Hobie Cat sailboats, wind surfers, kayaks and pedal boats.

The helpful professional staffs know what their guests need for pampering and a restful beach vacation but can also arrange for any adventure tours on the sea or on land that you may wish to experience.
In case the amenities at Robert’s Grove are not enough and you want to do more than dive or snorkel the reef or enjoy the many water sports available, you can visit Placencia village which was founded in the 1600s by English buccaneers and boasts to be the oldest continually inhabited communities in Belize. Some of the mainland attractions include visits to Mayan ruins, jungle treks; zip lining the canopy or cave tubing.
For those wanting even more seclusion, Robert’s Grove also have accommodations on two private islands, Robert’s Caye and Ranguana Caye.
Private island packages include round trip transfers, accommodation in an oceanfront cabana complete with full private bathroom and private terrace, American breakfast, lunch and dinner served either at the restaurant or at your cabana, plus Kayaks and snorkeling gear.
