The Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort is a boutique resort hotel ideally located for relaxation and adventures either diving in the Caribbean Sea and on the second longest reef in the world, exploring and climbing ancient Mayan Ruins or trekking through jungle and exploring caves.
There are a variety of rooms to choose from and of course the price you pay will depend on which room you would like and when you would like to stay but the prices range from $250 for a Beachfront room in the low season to $690 for a Deluxe Treehouse in the peak season.
Pre-paid meal plans can be arranged at $15 for breakfast, $20 for lunch and $50 for dinner. There are also all-inclusive packages that can be booked and which include accommodations, meals and a variety of adventure activities. These packages can start from $1,895 per person based on double occupancy of a Beachfront room.
Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort is located on the mainland of Belize, on a 12 mile stretch of beach, close to the Village of Hopkins and a 40 minute drive from Dangriga Airstrip. The resort is ideally situated for diving or snorkelling the reef or Belize’s 3 Atolls and is home to the largest diving operation in southern Belize. Although having easy access to the sea, the resort’s location is also ideal for some inland adventures to the rainforests or the Mayan ruins.
All the rooms at the Hamanasi Adventure and Dive Resort are spacious and well furnished, plus have air conditioning, in room safes and a porch. There are 5 Deluxe tree houses that can sleep 3, 2 Honeymoon Suites that can sleep 2, 8 tree houses that can sleep 4, 2 Beachfront Deluxe rooms that can sleep 4 and also 8 Beachfront rooms that can also sleep up to 4 people.
Food & Dinning
Meals can be enjoyed in the elegance of the Great House or on the patio or veranda. Meals are made with fresh ingredients and offer international meals with a Caribbean twist. Packed lunches can be provided for trips and dinners can be accompanied by a bottle of wine.
En-suit massages are available plus braid, manicures and pedicures services. There is a gift shop with local arts and crafts and kayaks and bikes are available for use from the front desk.

Being on the mainland yet on the coast with the Caribbean Sea and reef in easy access, there are an abundance of activities to partake in and among them of course is diving or snorkeling along the reef or alternatively taking one of the resort’s inland tours to see the beauties of the rainforest, cave tubing and zip lining or exploring a Mayan ruin.
This resort really does offer the best of both worlds with a 3 tanks, full day’s diving of the Lighthouse Reef Atoll & Blue Hole for $290 and/or Jungle River Kayaking & Canoeing for $65, plus a variety of other choices.
